Research Income

In 2010/2011 the School of Social Sciences and Philosophy secured over €1,300,000 in research funding. The main sources of funding available include funding through the European Commission (FP7), the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (IRCHSS) and funding through government departments and agencies (Irish Aid/HEA).
