Junior Sophister - Sociology and Social Policy

Students must take compulsory modules to a value of 30 ECTS and optional modules to a value of 30 ECTS.

  • Modules chosen in JS year will determine the range of modules available to you in SS year.
  • Students taking a year on Erasmus/ Exchange must take a module equivalent to SO3240 whilst on exchange, SO3240 is a prerequisite for the compulsory SO4200 Dissertation module in the final year.
  • Students on a one term Erasmus/ Exchange may not take LA3435 or LA3439
  • Students wishing to take a Political Science (PO) Module must have taken two Political Science modules in the Senior Freshman year.

All of the above modules have 10 ECTS
