Digitalisation and Social Networks
This research strand focuses on networks, both from an organizational perspective and in digital form. This has included an ethnography to investigate the workings of the network organizational form in post-conflict reconciliation and reconstruction in Kosovo and an online ethnography of communities involved in computational citizen science.
PhD research in this area include research networks and development in sub-Saharan Africa, the legacy of Euro2012 organizational networks on democratic governance in Poland, and organizational networks in meeting the needs of asylum seekers in Ireland.
