Welcome to the CLCS Turkish language and culture resources.

We teach four Turkish language classes (A1 and A2 levels) to TCD students and to the general public. We hope you will find these online resources useful as you prepare class projects, and keep up your Turkish language learning outside class.

ORHAN PAMUK
Website of Orhan Pamuk, famous novelist born in Istanbul in 1952. He recently won the Nobel Prize in Literature. One novel to read is My Name is Red, ithas been translated into 24 languages worldwide and has won many prestigious prizes

ARCHIVE OF TURKISH ORAL NARRATIVE
Archive of audio files and video files on music folklore and literature. Transcripts of narratives have been translated into English
