Cultural difference and communication across cultures, the relationship between language, culture and social identity and the intercultural nature of translation and interpreting professions.

Teaching/Supervision
Ms. Sarah Sheridan teaches a range of modules including: Child Language Acquisition, Language Processing, Consecutive Interpreting, Liaison Interpreting and Simultaneous Interpreting. In addition, she is the Placement Coordinator for the Centre for Deaf Studies and is on the Fitness to Practice Committee in the School of Linguistic, Speech and Communication Sciences.
