Research Interests
Olena Bien is a visiting PhD student from the DFG Graduate School at the University of Landau in Germany. Her PhD research examines teachers’ cognition (knowledge, theories, beliefs and attitudes) in the context of migration-related multilingualism. Funded by a DFG scholarship, she will learn more about researching multilingual classrooms under the supervision of Dr Lorna Carson.
