5th AILA-Europe Junior Research Meeting in Applied Linguistics
Programme Overview
(including Pre-conference workshop)
The 5th AILA-Europe Junior Researcher Meeting sets out to explore the topic of multilingualism in education. Paper presentations will be organised according to three thematic strands: (1) Language Policy, (2) Language Curricula, (3) Language Practice.
Please note that presentations should be 15 minutes long, with a further 5 minutes allocated for questions afterwards.
During the conference, there will also be the opportunity to discuss poster presentations with their authors.
We are delighted to welcome three plenary speakers, Dr Christine Hélot, Dr Lid King, and Professor David Little.
All participants will be invited to attend a pre-conference workshop on the theme of multilingualism in education on June 17th. This workshop is part of the LUCIDE research network on urban multilingualism. The workshop programme can be found here.
During the conference, we will also offer roundtables on key aspects of research and careers in academia, with the participation of international senior colleagues.
