Forming  a Company

The University Strategic Plan for 2009-2014 emphasizes the role of the University in commercialisation and employment creation. In 2009 alone, Trinity has spun out 10 campus companies with the assistance of the Technology Transfer Office.
Case managers assist the researchers through the process and, where possible, endeavor to find a non-academic professional, who will aid with business strategy and the legal, financial and taxation issues that are often the rate limiting step in company formation.

Business Plans

A well written business plan is an essential first step when forming a company. There are many opinions on what constitutes a good business plan and, frustratingly, everyone is an expert. There are, however, some useful templates and guides freely available online.
