What information is captured?Information categories held in the RSS comprise general information on the individual member of faculty including:
Initially the system will be available for internal university access only. In due course the system will be accessible on the web and will be externally accessible to facilitate Academia, Industry, Business to identify individuals with academic interests and research expertise in particular areas, through the use of 'keyword' searches. The Research Support System and TCD's Strategic Plan:" A coherent information policy for College to address the needs of management, the Library, e-learning, electronic publications and records management will be developed with a view to having an integrated view of information systems across the whole of College."
