Michelle Spirtos
Assistant Professor, Occupational Therapy

Biography

Michelle has been a lecturer in the Discipline of Occupational Therapy, Trinity College Dublin since January 2003. Prior to this she practiced both in Ireland and the USA in childhood disability and hand injuries. Her teaching and research focus is primarily children and young people. Her research interests include participation and engagement and interventions to facilitate successful participation and engagement. She is also concerned with upper limb function and hand conditions. Michelle is currently completing a PhD study exploring the transition to adulthood with young people with cerebral palsy, hemiplegia.
