Current Research Interests/Projects

Most of the ageing-related research carried out by Trinity academics can be broadly grouped under the following headings:

  • Optimizing health in later life
  • Income, assets and expenditure- developing a supportive framework for financial security in later life
  • Independence in the micro- and macro- environments
  • “The lived life”: From personal histories to societal expectations
