Religion - Ethics - Cultural Engagement
The new Trinity Long Room Hub lecture series of the Confederal School of Religions, Theology and Ecumenics 2013-2014 will take place once a month on Tuesdays, 5-7 p.m., in the Long Room Hub.
Please note the opening event:
October 22, 2013, 5-6.30 p.m.: Professor Dr. Peter Strohschneider, Univ. of Munich and Head of the German Research Council, "The Place of Theology at the University - The Position Paper of the German Wissenschaftsrat"
7-8.30 p.m.: Panel discussion: "Theology in Interdisciplinary Collaborations - Experiences from Different International Settings"

On Saturday October 19th at 10.00 a.m. the Department of Religions and Theology is having an interdisciplinary Conference on Ethics and Sport in the Trinity Longroom Hub.
The programme includes:
Reflection: Jack Gleeson (Religions & Theology student in Trinity College and star of Game of Thrones)
Opening Address: Pat Gilroy (former All-Ireland winning player and manager)
