Student should familiarise themselves with the course requirements, module structure and learning outcomes - all available on-line through subject website.
Computer Science
Attend all lectures, labs and tutorials. Ask questions even after the lecture if too shy to ask in class. Keep on top of all course work.
A course which has been set a credit rating of 10 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) means that students are expected to be studying this course for at least 10 hours each week. Thus after a student has attended 2 lectures, 1 tutorial and 1 lab the student will be expected to be studying this course for an additional 6 hours each week in his or her own time.
Science
Avail of all the support systems in place in the university and register with the Disability Service.
