Exam accommodations

Examination accommodations are based on the impact of a disability on the student. Every student with a disability has different needs.

We will discuss these with you at your Needs Assessment. We then advise Schools, Departments and the Exams Office of these reasonable accommodations at the beginning of each academic year.

Exam accommodations may include extra time, a smaller exam room, a reader, scribe or use of a computer.

Unlike the Leaving Certificate there is no asterisk *, explanation or any other mark on your degree certificate which identifies you as a student with a disability.
