Whether you want to be a… … player, administrator, coach, volunteer or club officer, Trinity Sport has something to offer everyone. You might be a recreational athlete or an elite competitor, whichever route you choose there are 48 clubs providing a huge range of activities from GAA to trampolining, from ultimate Frisbee to golf and everything else in between.
Getting involved in sport during your time at university is the best way to meet friends, try new activities, represent your College or simply keep healthy. The state-of-the-art sport facilities are available for use by all students and our varied programme of activity ensures that there is something for everyone – 48 student clubs, swimming pool, 40+ weekly classes, gym, climbing wall and much more. The Department also runs a Sports Scholarship Programme to assist high performing athletes achieve sporting excellence alongside academic success

DUCAC (Dublin University Central Athletic Club) are the governing body for the Sport Clubs at the University and are based on the 2nd Floor of the Sports Centre. They are responsible for the interests and development of Sports Clubs at Trinity College. They support our Sports Clubs at a recreational, competitive and elite level; so there is something to suit everybody!
They report to the Capitation Committee and receive the majority of their funding from this Committee. Their income is also supplemented with profits from the Pavilion Bar. They work closely with the Sports Clubs to help increase their fundraising opportunities through sponsorship and alumni engagement, while also supporting Clubs in their development.
