Research

The Herzog Centre aims to develop the interdisciplinary field of Jewish Studies both at Trinity College Dublin and nationally. Our research committee is comprised of scholars from across the Humanities at Trinity. There is also a vibrant research community in the Department of Near & Middle Eastern Studies and we have a growing number of research students in the areas of Jewish, Biblical and Near Eastern Studies. The Herzog Centre, often in conjunction with the Centre for Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies, supports research students by organizing research seminars and conferences as well as supplementing our library collection.
