Summer School of Inclusion 2010

Following the successful first Summer School of Inclusion in 2009, Dr Joan Murphy, former Director of the National Institute for Intellectual Disability hosted the NIID's second Summer School on Inclusion in July, 2010 at Trinity College Dublin.

International speakers included Prof. Mary Falvey and Dr. Richard Rosenberg of California State University, Prof. Susan Ryan, University of Vermont and Prof. Patricia O'Brien, University of Sydney.
During the three day Summer School, international speakers joined Irish in delivering workshops for people with intellectual disabilities, family members and professionals working in the area. Workshops included Person Centred Planning, Transitions to Independent Living, Early Intervention, Inclusive Research and Expressive Arts. Summer School Brochure 2010
