More than 6,000 people attended the World War 1 Roadshow hosted by Trinity College Dublin in partnership with RTÉ Radio 1 and the National Library of Ireland, on July 12th last where Ireland’s part in the war was explored with a series of events that took place throughout the Trinity campus. It was organised in Trinity by the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences in conjunction with the Trinity Long Room Hub, Arts and Humanities Research Institute. RTÉ Radio 1 will broadcast a ‘Sunday Miscellany’ programme specially recorded in Trinity on the occasion of the WW1 Roadshow, on August 3rd next (9am), and RTÉ television will broadcast ‘Nationwide’ on Friday, August 1st (7pm) also recorded on the day.
