Neural engineering is the emerging field defined by its use of engineering, computational and mathematical methods to solve problems in basic and clinical neurosciences to understand, repair, replace, enhance, or exploit the properties of neural systems Our interest is to develop novel and advanced technologies and signal processing algorithms for clinical needs. Specifically, this involves the development of novel and creative, patient-oriented neurodiagnostics methods; the design and realisation of new neural prosthetics and also therapeutic neuromodulation devices. Our laboratory specializes in mathematical analysis, technology development and implementing clinical solutions. We take projects from basic research to commercial application and research solutions from bench to bedside.
