M.Sc. in Biological Psychiatry

Course Timetable

The MSc in Biological Psychiatry is a two-year part-time course.  The course is run during term time on Thursday afternoons from 14.00 to 19.30.  Students are required to take a total of 6 modules over four semesters and complete a research dissertation of about 15,000 words on an approved theme in the second year. The modules are awarded the following ECTS credits:

Module A: Statistics and Research Methodology (10 ECTS)
Module B: Neuropsychiatric Genetics (10 ECTS)
Module C: Molecular Neuroscience (10 ECTS)
Module D: Neuroimaging and Biomarkers (10 ECTS)
Module E: Molecular Psychiatry (10 ECTS)
Module F: Clinical Neuropsychology and Cognitive Genomics (10 ECTS)
Module G: Research Dissertation (30 ECTS)
