Management and Advisory Boards

The activities of the Trinity Long Room Hub are overseen by four management and advisory boards, two of which are internal to Trinity College and two of which benefit from the involvement of external members from the worlds of academia, business, the arts and culture. The Executive Management Committee is an internal Trinity College body. It meets on a monthly basis to oversee the day-to-day running of the research institute. It makes decisions on project planning, the provision of resources, and the operational priorities of the Trinity Long Room Hub.

The Internal Advisory Board is composed of the Heads of School and the Directors of Research of the Hub's constituent schools and departments, as well as representatives from key areas within the Library.  It meets at least twice a year to review and guide the research mission of the Hub.

The External Advisory Board meets twice a year. It is composed of internationally-prominent scholars and individuals from the business and cultural sectors with a strong interest in the arts and humanities. It provides expert external assessment of the Hub's mission, goals and strategic plan.

The Board of Governance meets twice a year to oversee and plan the strategic goals and priorities of the Hub.
