2010 – 2011 Research Fellowships in the Arts and Humanities

In the autumn of 2009 the Trinity Long Room Hub announced a competition for Visiting Research Fellowships (VRFs). Almost 120 applications were received from scholars on four continents from across the entire range of arts and humanities research. In mid-March 2010 a selection committee, overseen by the external assessor, Professor Gabrielle Griffin of York University, awarded VRFs of between 1 and 6 months to 35 outstanding scholars.
Fellows will have full access to the collections of the Library, will be provided with an office in the new Hub building, and will become members of the Senior Common Room. Each Fellow will give one class, lecture or seminar during the tenure of their VRF.
