My dearie Such an interesting and long letter today written from Bailey’s Hotel. I am sorry you had the usual adventures and difficult time to get a train but you had a day enjoyable on the whole So it was allright though it must have been miserable looking for admission to hotels. Then (as you say) three parcels two from you my dear containing lovely sox and lots of handkerchiefs and the snow-boots <& diary> it has fitted me out grand I think Ill only wear the snow-boots for inside as with the slippers they are Grand & comfy Then the other little parcel contained the arctic sox. Altogether you are very good
