You know the Ponsonby-Trevelyn-Pethwick Laurence people. It had very good articles in it. Their whole energies are bent towards stopping the War. Yet they have never anything new to say. Perhaps that is natural. Their views are that of reason and common-sense there is something reason & common-sense I suppose that keeps them outside the sympathies of the people.
