Tuesday
My dearie. I got your dear letter today dated 26th Decr. Im glad about the photos being good. I too got a very nice card from Bob and one from your mother with some very good chocolate. Ive written to both. I think indeed the card you sent is lovely and a very dear little baby. LS has sent in the name of 223 a card pointed out here, the allusion is not very plain to you because you dont know what the Roten Fuchs stands for It is an crest or emblem of a formation here. I dont care much for it d’you? Deare I am very grieved with what you say about Mrs B. and wonder have you exaggerated if for it seems a very bad thing. I cannot understand her being very ill as she never looked it. I hope youll be able to tell me better news as I am very anxious indeed to know. This morning to the OP with Baker to shew him round it. Even less to see than yesterday and Huns very quiet. Did
