My dearest. Your grand letter to hand today full of interesting and nice things. and dearie two more big parcels It is wonderful all the amount of comforts you have had sent & made for me. You must have great influence amongst the Killiney workers. Dearie about the photographs how could I have them taken here you know that cameras are not allowed in the fronts. Anyhow do not intrigue yourself about them. Ill let you know some time and Olive I expect will be unable to throw any light on the subject. Im glad Mrs Ashlin is not so disturbed about the food & her butter and is having good golf. The serious thing is to have plenty for the little one to eat when it appears and for you to get all you want now. About its clothes as you say freshness & cleanliness is the big thing more a matter of management than of cost I should think It should not be richly dressed in my opinion, nor brought up too luxuriously. No Baker does not bring in the aiming-posts he is more the authority on what we shoot at & where & the necessary conections etc to hit it. Targets dearie are things you shoot at I thought they always were, maybe a bit of a trench here or there a road a battery or
