war. He is a motorcyclist and was through the second wipers battle. He says all his family take part in war; his grandfather fought for the Confederates in the Civil War and he himself in a Mexican civil war in which he says, now that he took the wrong side. He told me if he had been big enough he would have fought the Boers in the African War. He was amusing because it was quite without any affectation that he explained almost apologetically that it was hereditary in his family to take part in any war that would be reached conveniently.
