I am having a day off chiefly because Ive a sore foot, nothing but a kind of hardness on the back of my instep caused by a hard boot which gives me trouble when I put it on I am anxiously waiting for my rubber boots which left Dublin on the fourth and have been now 5 days in arriving. I was awfully pleased you liked the proposal I offered. Papa says it would be a very good idea but as yet does not know any more about the possibility or otherwise of doing it
