IT Services Alerts - TCDconnect service, 30-min scheduled outage, July 24th

Testing and records indicate that full service has been restored and TCDconnect users should be able to connect once more.

In order to restore the TCDconnect service to full resilience, so that the backup insfrastructure is available in case of an issue with the main infrastructure, there will be a 30-min outage to the TCDconnect Wi-Fi and wired services from 4.30pm to 5pm today, Wednesday, 24th July. We would like to apologise for the inconvenience.

There have been no issues with registration for the TCDconnect service since approximately 11am this morning, following work carried out by IS Services and the third-party suppliers. The service is being actively monitored to ensure the problems do not recur.

There is an issue currently affecting some users trying to register for the TCDconnect service. Those already registered are not affected and the primary service is operating as normal. Updates will be posted here regarding any possible action required to restore the registration facility to normal. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
