Further work was carried out between 1pm and 2pm, without the need to disrupt the service as outlined below, and full service has been restored.  The service will be actively monitored to ensure there is no recurrance of the registration issues seen since 11am on Satuday.  Further work may be required later this week in order to restore resilience on the service and we continue to work with the external suppliers in this regards.

In order to resolve the issue with registration on the TCDconnect service it will be necessary to carry out some work which will result in a loss of Wi-Fi connectivity for those using the service between 1.15pm and 1.30pm.  Those on wired connections in residences will not be affected.  We would like to apologise for the inconvenience.

IS Services have identified an issue with TCDconnect which is preventing students from registering with the service.  As this issue occurred at approximately 11am on Saturday, 13th July, it is likely that students have not been able to register a computer host with the TCDconnect service since then.

IS Services are actively working on restoring the system as quickly as possible to full operation.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing.

Kind regards,

IS Services
