IT Services Alerts - Internet access issues to/from School of Computer Science and Statistics, June 20th

Work was successfully carried out on Wednesday 26th June by the technical staff in SCSS to revert to the primary network infrastructure.

Services have resumed as normal following the workaround that has been put in place, as described below. IS Services will follow up next week with further information, as some work will be required to revert to the normal configuration.

Some work has taken place to bypass the underlying issue and restore a level of service close to normal. IS Services are continuing to work with SCSS support and external suppliers to indentify and resolve the underlying issue. Until that point some services such as external access to SCSS email are still affected.

Internet connectivity issues persist in the School of Computer Science and Statistics. IS Services are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Connectivity to/from the internet in the School of Computer Science and Statistics is unavailable since approximately 5pm today. IS Services, SCSS Support and external suppliers are working to identify and resolve the issue.
