IT Services Alerts - Resolved: College wireless network connectivity issues, May 9th

Update: Friday, 10th May 2013, 9.50am

The root cause of yesterday's Wi-Fi outage was a software issue on the network core.  We are working with the suppliers to determine what action will be required to prevent the problem recurring.  It is probable that the network core software will need to be upgraded.  This work would result in a 30-minute Wi-Fi outage and so will be scheduled for after the Annual Examination period.
