IT Services Alerts - Fraudulent email from 'Trinity Colledge Dublin' with subject 'Account-Upgrade!!!!!!!!!!!!', May 2nd

Several users have reported receiving the email outlined below. Please ignore this email should you receive it as it is fraudulent and is a 'phishing' attempt. The email should be deleted. If you have replied to this email or clicked on any link contained in the email body please report to the IS Services Helpdesk at the earliest opportunity. An overview of the email content is provided below.

This email is being sent to you because of violation security breachthat was detected by our servers. Our server detected that one of themessages you received from a contact has already infected yourweb-mail with a dangerous virus.
You can no longer be allowed to send messages or files to otherusers to prevent the spread of virus to other @TCD.IE web-mailusers. Please follow the link below to perform maintenance work neededto improve the protection of the web-mail for us to verify and have youraccount cleared against this virus.
