IT Services Alerts - Update: Issues authenticating with the staff wireless network, TCDconnect wireless network, VPN, and eduroam, September 12th

IS Services are aware that College users have been experiencing issues intermittently throughout the day when attempting to access a number of College IT systems. We are have identified the root cause and are continuing to work directly with Microsoft Premier Support to resolve the problems.
Changes have been initiated and are currently being rolled out to the College authentication service. The initial testing is indicating that College users should now be able to access the wireless network and VPN. We will continue to monitor the rollout of the change and it's impact in regard to restoring authentication access to College IT services.

The are currently some issues authenticating with the staff wireless network, TCDconnect wireless network, VPN, and eduroam. IS Services have identified the root cause and are working to resolve the issue.
Specifically, current indications are that no users can connect to the staff wireless network or the VPN service. The majority of students do seem to be successfully connecting to the TCDconnect wireless network, but there have been some reported failures.
