IT Services Alerts - Possible 1-minute outage to staff email service, September 14th, 8am

The work planned for Thursday, 13th September at 8am will now take place on Friday, 14th September at 8am, resulting in a possible 1-minute downtime to the staff email service. IS Services would again like to apologise for any inconvenience.

To complete the work initiated on Thursday 6th September to help resolve an issue accessing the staff email service from iOS devices, the staff email service may be unavailable for 1 minute from 8am on Thursday 13th September.

Some staff members are again reporting intermittent issues in receiving email on iOS devices, such as iPhone or iPad. Due to work to help resolve this issue the staff email service may be unavailable for 1 minute from 8am on Thursday 6th September. IS Services would like to apologise for the continuing inconvenience.

Following work scheduled to take place overnight, indications are that the issue for some staff in not being able to access staff email from iOS devices has been resolved. If you are still experiencing problems please contact the IS Services Helpdesk.

IS Services are aware that over the weekend some iPhone/iPad/iPod users may not have been able to connect to the staff email service. There will be an at-risk period to the staff email service between 5:00am and 6.30am tomorrow Tuesday 4th September as work takes place to attempt to resolve this issue.
