IT Services Alerts - Internet Explorer compatibility view settings - policy change, August 2nd, 8am

Following further testing this change will be implemented once more, prior to 9am on Thursday 2nd August 2012.  No service interruption is anticipated, however should you experience a negative change in behaviour when using Internet Explorer in College offices and labs please contact the IS Services Helpdesk.

Due to problems experienced by a small number of users, the policy change below has been reversed.  IS Services staff will continue to investigate the best solution to problems caused by Internet Explorer compatibility view on some websites.

In order to resolve a low number of reported problems related to the Internet Explorer compatiblity view settings, IS Services will be remotely enforcing a change to these settings on all Windows PCs connected to the COLLEGE network in College offices and labs.  These settings will take force from start of business on Thursday 26th July 2012.

No service interruption is anticipated, however should you experience a negative change in behaviour when using Internet Explorer in College offices and labs please contact the IS Services Helpdesk.
