IT Services Alerts - Fraudulent email with subject 'Upgrade to your Microsoft mailbox'

Several users have reported receiving the email outlined below. Please ignore this email should you receive it as it is fraudulent and is a 'phishing' attempt. The email should be deleted. If you have replied to this email or clicked on the link contained in the email body please report to the IS Services Helpdesk at the earliest opportunity. An overview of the email content is provided below.

Subject: Upgrade to your Microsoft mailbox

Dear Staff,
This email contains important information regarding your mailbox

We are upgrading the software behind the Microsoft email and calendaring service to the latest version (Microsoft Exchange 2010) in order to improve the functionality of Outlook Web App for more of our users, and to see some other benefits. In order to make the change, we will ask you to avoid emailing or amending calendars between 10 pm and 8 am over one night in May. You will receive the date for this in a separate email.

We aslo require that you Sumbit the following Informations by clinking on this Link http://xuta.me/microsoft-upgrade before the said day is announced.

More importantly, your local IT support has been extensively briefed and should be able to answer more questions.
