IT Services Alerts - Staff wireless, student wireless, VPN, eduroam - authentication issues, November 11th

Update: Friday, 11th November, 10.30am

At present the staff wireless, student wireless, VPN and eudroam services are operating as normal.  IS Services will contintue to actively monitor these services. 

The root cause of the problems experienced in recent days has not yet been determined and so IS Services are continuing to work with the suppliers, Cisco Services, in an effort to resolve the underlying cause.  As the root of the issue has not yet been identified there is a likelihood of further interruptions.

Unfortunately both VPN and wireless services are now currently offline. TCD users of the eduroam service attempting to connect from off-campus locations are also affected.  IS Services staff continue to actively investigate this issue with further updates posted here. IS Services would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The issues below have recurred on an intermittent basis for some users and IS Services are liaising with the relevant suppliers in an effort to determine the root cause.  IS Services would again like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

IS Services are aware of an issue whereby College users are unable to authenticate and access staff wireless, student wireless and VPN services.  IS Services staff are actively investigating this issue and further updates will be posted here.  We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
