IT Services has received reports of a phishing message in circulation, as shown below.  Please ignore this email should you receive it as it is fraudulent and is a 'phishing' attempt.  The email should be deleted.  If you have replied to this email or clicked on the link contained in the email body please report to the IT Service Desk at the earliest opportunity. Dear Staff using the outlook web access ,

There is a Ongoing Email Verification for all active staff using the outlook web access due to recent phishing emails received on our servers and we are doing an emergency clean up and as such all active staff are to follow the directives below and Verify their accounts to take effect now and all Inactive staff email accounts that did not follow this process w ill be terminated for Inactivity. This is done to improve the security and efficiency of Email service due to recent spam mails received and to protect active staff from phishing attacks. Please follow the link below;

After circulating this switching to staff in question and if not done, such outlook email account will be deactivated as an unverified and inactive staff email account without any further notice permanently .
