IT Services Alerts - Removal of explicit proxy from the TCDconnect network 3rd-19th Feb

As part of our service improvement work, we have been making significant changes to way staff and students connect to the internet.  Our hope is to provide a more broadband-like experience.

We have been in contact with those in College who are still using proxy settings to access internet applications, such as Skype or Dropbox, and have asked them to take action in removing those settings. 

Over the next two weeks, between 3rd February and 19th February, we will be discontinuing explicit proxy from the TCDconnect network in phases.
