IT Services Alerts - Scheduled downtime to SITS service (my.tcd.ie) - Mon 15th Dec 5.30pm to Wed 17th Dec 5.30pm

The following message is posted on behalf of the Academic Registry:
Please note that the annual SITS System Upgrade is scheduled to take place from 5.30pm on Monday, 15th December. It is expected that the upgrade will take two full working days to complete and that the system will be returned to users late on Wednesday, 17th December.
To facilitate this essential work, both my.tcd.ie and SITS client will be unavailable to users from 5.30 pm on Monday, 15th December until close of business on Wednesday, 17th December.
In selecting a suitable time to carry out this mandatory upgrade, this period outside teaching term has been identified to minimise disruption, as much as possible, to core academic and administrative activity.
Alert messages will be placed on the SITS web/portal/client to alert users to the system downtime, and resumption of normal service will be confirmed by email.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding while this essential annual upgrade is carried out. If you experience any technical difficulties following the upgrade, please contact email@example.com.
