IT Services Alerts - TCD PeopleFinder redesign & improvements, October 7th

Clearing the web browser history has resolved the issue with the not fully loading in a number of cases.  In Firefox this is done via Options - Privacy - clear your recent history.  In Internet Explorer this is done under Settings - Safety - Delete Browsing History.  It is important to browse to a web page other than PeopleFinder before doing this.  In Internet Explorer it is recommended, after clearing the web browser history, to open InPrivate Browsing (Settings - Safety - InPrivate Browsing) and then browse to, the first time you browse to it.  It is not necessary to keep using InPrivate Browsing when visiting the site in future.

We have received further reports that some people are experiencing the issue outlined below in other web browsers such as Firefox.  Work is continuing to resolve the issue and the workaround remains that the web page loads properly if browsing to  We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We have received reports of issues with the web page not fully loading at for some people using Internet Explorer 10 and 11.  The page loads properly if navigating to  Work is underway to resolve this issue.

The redesigned PeopleFinder website is due to go live on the morning of Tuesday, 7th October.  As part of this process the PeopleFinder service will be unavailable for around 1 minute during the switchover between 8.30am and 9am that day.  See the link below to find out more about the improvements made to the service with this redesign.

As part of service improvement works, the TCD PeopleFinder service will be unavailable for approximately 1 minute between 8.30am and 9am on Wednesday, 1st October in order to switch to a redesigned version of the service.  Read more about the improvements delivered with the redesign.
