Full printing, scanning and photocopying service has been restored to the College computer rooms and Library.  Work is underway to determine the root cause of the recent issues in order to prevent recurrance.  We would again like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Unfortunately no further progress has been made in attempting to restore the printing, scanning and photocopying service in the College computer rooms and Library.  Updates will continue to be posted here as the situation develops.

Unfortunately a number of issues continue with the Datapac printing service in College computer rooms and Library.  Datapac are investigating the issues and hope to have things resolved quickly.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will post updates here as soon as they become available.

Work has been completed to restore those printers that had been in use as direct printers to normal service.  The location of these printers is noted below.

Following the full resumption of the printing, scanning and photocopying service yesterday evening, work is underway to restore those printers that had been in use as direct printers to normal service.  The location of these printers is noted below.

Full printing, scanning and photocopying services in the College computer rooms and Library have been restored, with the exception of the printers which had been temporarily setup as direct printers (noted below).

We would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by the disruption to this key service.

Full service has not yet been restored but as a temporary measure the following arrangements are in place:

Below is a list of locations with a temporary 'print and collect' service (direct printing):

Location & designated PC:

  • East End 2 Computer Room - Lecturer's PC
  • Hamilton 1 Computer Room - PC to left inside door
  • Ussher Library Computer Room - Scanner PC
  • 1937 Reading Room - Printing PC
  • St James Biology - PC opposite door
  • Iveagh Hall, Berkeley Library - Datapac helpdesk area, Copying available

There is no charge for this temporary printing service.

There is also a temporary photocopying solution available in Iveagh Hall (Berkeley Library) and in the Hamilton Library.

Flatbed scanners are available in Room 4066 Arts Building, Ussher Library Computer Room, Hamilton 1 Computer Room, East End 4 Computer Room.

Work has been continuing on-site with the third-party supplier, Datapac, and indications are that some progress has been made in identifying the underlying issues with the printing service.  The current expectation is that service will be restored in the coming hours and further updates will be posted here.

The issues affecting the Datapac printing service in the College computer rooms and Library have not yet been resolved and so this service is still unavailable.  Work is continuing to restore this service and updates will be posted here.

Unfortunately the Datapac printing service in the College computer rooms and Library is still unavailable.  Work has continued throughout the day to identify the cause of the issue but no resolution has been possible.  Work will continue to restore service and updates will be posted here as developments arise.  We would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused.
