New students - obtaining your username & password

After you fully complete online registration at, you will be sent an Intray message with your Trinity username and initial network login password. You will need this username to check your email, gain access to Trinity Wi-Fi, use the Library services online and more.

To get this username and your initial network login password check your Intray Messages at for a message with the subject ‘Your Trinity Computer Account - Username and Password’. If you cannot see this message, please click the ‘All Messages’ link.

New students - setting your own password

The Intray message that lists your username and initial network login password also provides instructions on setting your own network login password, which you must do within 14 days of first logging into the Trinity network. You can set your own password at any time by visiting and clicking the ‘Set Password’ link. You’ll then need to enter your username and initial password, before being brought to a new web page where you can enter and verify a new password of your choice.

By following these instructions, you will be setting your password for a range of Trinity IT systems which you will need access to, including your password for MyZone, the student email service. You won’t be able to access MyZone until you have set your own password.
