MyZone Service Outline
College email for students is available via an online service, called MyZone, available from any computer with internet access at http://myzone.tcd.ie. This MyZone service operates in a similar manner to iGoogle giving users a centralised login point to access their College email and other services such as calendar and chat. Via MyZone, College students are able to retain their College email address for life. The MyZone email service is similar to Google's Gmail service and so offers many benefits including over 6GB storage space.
Set MyZone Password
New users of MyZone must set a password for the MyZone service before then being able to sign-in to MyZone. When you click the 'Set MyZone Password' link below you will be prompted for your College username and network login password.

Sign-In & Access Email and Calendar
After you first sign-in to MyZone, and access your personalised start page for the first time, you will need to know how to access your email and calendar:
- Browse to myzone.tcd.ie. As the MyZone website is external to College you may be prompted for your username and external web access password when you attempt to browse to http://myzone.tcd.ie. This external web access password is the same as your network login password.
- When you reach the main MyZone page you can then sign in to MyZone, via the 'Sign In' link at the top right of the page. You will then be brought to a login page where you can enter your College username and MyZone password. If you have not signed into MyZone before note that you must set your MyZone password before being able to sign in.

- Once you have signed in successfully for the first time then on the right of the page you will see two content boxes, called gadgets, linking to your 'Email' and your personal 'Google Calendar'.
Click on the 'Email' link at the top of the email gadget to access the main MyZone email interface. Similarly, click on the 'Google Calendar' link to access your personal calendar.
- When you subsequently wish to access MyZone you simply have to browse to http://myzone.tcd.ie and Sign-In via the link at the top right of the page.
