M.Phil degrees

We offer taught M.Phil. degrees in Intercultural Theology & Interreligious Studies, International Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation. These one-year fulltime or two-year part-time programmes are at the heart of the school. Our Dublin and Belfast campuses offer stimulating environments for learning, research, and personal development. Students interact with staff from both campuses and fellow students from a variety of backgrounds and nations.

Our graduates are equipped to engage critically with the most pressing political, social, ethical and theological issues of the day. They also gain the conceptual tools and methodological skills to conduct quality academic and applied research. Our graduates work in non-governmental organisations, in academia, as clergy, as writers, and in government agencies, just to name a few areas. They are known for their ability to ethically analyse difficult issues, communicate clearly, and offer creative perspectives on complex problems.
