Transforming Sectarianism
SEED (Sustained Education Encouraging Diversity) Project
This project was funded by the Department of Education Northern Ireland (DENI) and the ISE Trust between April 2004 and March 2007. Yvonne Naylor, the co-ordinator of the project, worked in partnership with the Education and Library Boards (ELB's), the Curriculum Council, minority ethnic and faith groups and other voluntary organisations as well as participating schools, after-school clubs and play schemes to produce resource packs for teachers and leaders. SEED tasks also included carrying out community relations audits in post-primary schools within the Derry City Council area and delivering whole school training days; workshops; individual and small group sessions addressing specific needs.
