'Feminism, Prostitution and the State' - available free till the end of August

Gillian Wylie's book - co-edited with Dr Eilis Ward of NUI Galway - has been selected for a pilot project by the publisher, Taylor and Francis. Their book 'Feminism, Prostitution and the State - the Politics of Neo-Abolitionism' is now free to read for the next 50 days at http://rdcu.be/tPlk.

The book is a collection of international case studies on the rise of neo-abolitionism - a policy position which advocates for the criminalisation of the buying of sex. This policy is often advocated as an anti-sex trafficking and anti-violence against women approach, but the authors here offer critical analysis of these claims, while explaining why the policy has become popular in many (but not all) places.

Feel free to read and respond!
