Fellow in Focus - 10 May 2016

You are welcome to join the next informal lunchtime 'Fellow in Focus session when Prof Iain Atack (Confederal School of Religions, Peace Studies and Theology, TCD) will converse with Dr Clara Fischer (UCD) about her research on the gendered politics of shame and containment in 20th century Ireland.

Dr Fischer is currently a Visiting Research Fellow at the Trinity Long Room Hub in collaboration with the Confederal School of Religions, Peace Studies and Theology. She has recently completed a British Academy Newton International Fellowship at the Gender Institute, London School of Economics and Political Science, and is a UCD Philosophy Teaching and Research Fellow and a UCD Women's Studies Research Associate. She specializes in feminist theory and political philosophy, and is completing a monograph on the gendered politics of shame and containment in 20th century Ireland.
