Son of director Bob Quinn, Robert Quinn worked as assistant director on a number of Irish films, including THE CRYING GAME (1992) and WILD ABOUT HARRY (2000). In 1994, he directed the short film DETOUR (1994), and in 2003 he directed his first feature, DEAD BODIES, one of the Irish Film Board-funded, low-budget digital productions. He followed this with the documentary, CINEGAEL PARADISO aka ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST (2004), focusing on his father’s career. Since then he has directed several television dramas for RTE, such as The Clinic, as well as the Irish language feature Cre na Cille.
